It always brings a smile to my face to see my photos. I see them on the walls of my house because I’ve had canvas prints made. I see them on my TV because I use Chromecast. I look at them on my phone or computer all the time. And now I see them on my iPhone’s main home screen in a automated widget.
Here’s how you do it:
First, you must have Google Photos installed on your phone. Then:
- Long press on an empty part of the screen
- Tap the + in the upper right corner
- Select the Google Photos widget
- Select the style you want then tap Add Widget
- Press home, or swipe up to complete
Didn’t work on mine. I have an iPhone XR and I have Google Photos loaded. The only Photo Widget that show is Apple Photos which I don’t use. Gmail and Google are there but no Google Photos.
Well that’s disappointing. Are you on iOS 14?
How to find a book from bookbub that I have been reading?
Assuming that you are reading the book using the Kindle app … Once you’re in the kindle app, reading any book, you can tap the screen, then the down arrow at the top left. Now you’re seeing “From your Library” in the top row. Scroll to the right and you’ll be seeing all the books you are currently reading – the bookbub choice should be there.
